This Saturday Dec. 11 and Sunday Dec. 12 from 12pm - 5pm

Gail Callahan, the Kangaroo Dyer will be available in person on Sunday. If you can't make it Sunday, know that her luscious, hand-dyed yarns and autographed copies of her book will be available for purchase in the studio all weekend. Check out her web site to see examples of her merino, cashmere, alpaca and silk yarns.

Sue McFarland, the studio's felting instructor, will be available all weekend, offering you her lovely, hand-woven chenille scarves. Sue will also have her fabulous felted scarves and ornaments. They are a must see! This would be a great time to ask Sue questions about felting. She will be offering classes in wet felting, nuno felting and 3D felting after the first of the year.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Had a lovely Thanksgiving break. But couldn't wait to get back into the studio.

The highlight of the break was to take a late afternoon walk around our property with 2 of my sons, and the dogs of course.

The cold, crisp air nipped at my cheeks as I tried to bury my face in my coat.

The dogs leaped and jumped with delight, simply because we were with them.

And those boys clowned around as if they were still 6 and 10 years.

When we got home, the first snowfall of the season fell. But, in our excitement I forgot to take a picture. So you will just have to use your imagination.
